Who We Are
For over 20 years, we've been nurturing young minds as a licensed in-home childcare facility in Burien, WA (SecondHomeChildcare.com). Volunteering in our community opened our eyes to the silent struggle of food insecurity. It transcends cultural, political, and spiritual backgrounds. Determined to make a difference, we decided to launch our own outreach program to tackle this critical need.
Founded in 2017, Selfless Outreach is a nonprofit mobile food bank dedicated to serving the underserved. We are an independent organization that relies solely on private donations and fundraising efforts. Our resources and supplies come from our childcare business and the generous support of community leaders, individuals, and local businesses.
